The AI industry requires $5-7 trillion in capital investment over five years for infrastructure buildout, with only hundreds of billions deployed to date, according to network automation company Netris.

Netris posted 622% growth and reports 95% customer adoption of Softgate, its network automation technology. The company has onboarded 15 AI cloud operators as infrastructure demands intensify.

Next-generation networking advances include updated Ethernet roadmaps and PCIe 6 standards to handle AI workload bandwidth. Advanced semiconductor manufacturing moves to A16 process nodes for higher performance chips. KLA Corp. expects mid-to-high teens growth in advanced packaging for calendar 2026.

Enterprise AI adoption accelerates through specialized platforms. Dell AI Factory targets sovereign environment deployments where data residency and regulatory compliance matter. Palantir's Chain Reaction system orchestrates AI workflows across enterprise infrastructure.

Production AI security advances through confidential computing, which uses hardware-enforced isolation and cryptographic attestation across CPUs, GPUs, and interconnects. "Security is only trustworthy if it can be independently verified," said Seth Demsey. "Confidential computing makes trust at runtime measurable, so customers can prove that sensitive models and data are protected while in use."

Corvex became among the first companies to achieve certification for NVIDIA HGX B200 confidential computing systems. The technology protects AI models and data during active use through hardware-level isolation.

Liquid cooling certifications expand in emerging markets like India for high-density GPU deployments. Data center infrastructure evolves to support power and thermal requirements of AI accelerators.

VCI Global's V Gallant subsidiary launched operations targeting Asia-Pacific, among the fastest-expanding regions for AI infrastructure deployment. Network infrastructure automation becomes critical as operators scale from dozens to thousands of GPU clusters.

The infrastructure buildout spans semiconductor fabs, data centers, networking equipment, and cooling systems. Capital allocation continues shifting toward AI-specific infrastructure as training and inference workloads grow exponentially.
